Sulky's 12wt Petites are perfect for embellishing your holiday projects, like these sweet snow globes! Use these easy tips for using these great threads in your machine with minimal fuss.
Step 1:
Reduce the upper tension on your machine. This makes the upper thread sit on top of your project. Increasing your stitch length to 3.5 will also help.
Step 2:
Use Sulky 60wt bobbin thread in your bobbin. This thread makes it easier for the machine to pull the bobbin thread to the top of your project. You can even buy it in pre-wound bobbins - it doesn't get much better than that!
Step 3:
Use a Top Stitch needle in size 90/14 or 100/16. These needles are designed with larger eyes to accommodate thicker threads without shredding the thread.
