Have you heard of Quiltcon?
Hosted by the Modern Quilt Guild, it's not your grandmother's quilt show, exuding a more contemporary vibe rather than a traditional quilt show. With Covid-19, the Modern Quilt Guild (MQG) decided early that the quilt show would be virtual this year and put all their effort into making sure to do it right!
All the classes will be online, too, and I’m excited to announce I will be teaching 3 classes! I wanted to make sure there would be something for everyone, so I created a Traditional type piecing class, a Foundation Paper Piecing class, and an English Paper Piecing Class. I did not limit the number of people allowed in any of my classes so they are not sold out!
The best part? You can access the class any time during the week, so, even if you work during the day, you can take the class whenever it is convenient for you! Classes will be broken down into sections - you can work at your own pace and then come back to watch the next section. There is also the option of getting into a live Q & A session with me and 11 other people (like a zoom meeting) to get live interaction and watch me embarrass myself in some form or fashion because if you have ever met me, you know it is bound to happen. I had really been looking forward to the personal interaction as a teacher, so I hope everyone decides do choose the “enhanced” version so I can get to know you all!
